One Day In The Forest......

It was early one morning.....

In a thick forest.....

The sun is rising in the east......



Piercing through the trees.....

Lighting up the area.....

Morning dew on the ground....

And leaves......

A light breeze......

Moves the leaves and branches.....

Ever so slightly.....

The trees are talking amongst themselves.....

Three trees in particular......

On this day are talking!!

The first tree says.....

"My wood is so majestic....."

"When the woodsman comes to the forest...."

"I will be cut down......."

"And made into a THRONE!!"

"I will hold a king!!"

The second tree said,

"My wood is sooooooo majestic...."

"When the woodsman cuts ME down......"

"He will build a fine ship......"

"I will carry kings......"

"And treasures within ME!!!"

The third tree said,

"My wood is large and majestic......"

"That when the woodsman cuts ME down......"

"I will be built into a beautiful mansion......"

"People will stare at ME in awe......."

"For YEARS to come!!!"

Over time, the trees were cut down.....



And the wood stacked behind a Carpenter's shop....

The first tree.......

That wanted to be a throne......

Was built into a feeding trough.....



And placed in a stable!!

One day, a couple stayed INSIDE the stable.....

The woman gave birth to a son......

Wrapped him and laid HIM.....

In the feeding trough......

Sheperds came to see him......

And worshiped this baby.....

Who later was known as......

The King of Kings!!

The second tree......

Who wanted to be a ship......

Was made into a lowly fishing boat......



Thousands of stinky and smelly fish......

Were carried in this boat......

One day, a Great Teacher......

Climbed into this fishing boat......

And spoke to the enormous crowd on the shore......

At a later date......

Awakened from a deep sleep.....

This Teacher calmed the rough waters......

With only saying a Word!!

The third tree......

That wanted to be a mansion......

Had a beam cut out of his wood.....

A beaten, bloody man......

With a crown of thorns on his head.....

Dragged this beam down the street....

He fell a few times.......

His blood dripping onto the wood......

Soldiers nailed this man to the beam......

And raised the beam up into the air......

The bleeding man died on the beam.......

And to this VERY DAY......

People look up to this beam......

In awe for the Man.....



That died on him!!!

So while YOU are amongst the trees.....

In YOUR forest.......

Telling the other trees......

That YOU want to become.....

A nurse.......

A truck driver.....

A meat man.....

A salesman.....

A carpet cleaner.....

A Store Manager......

A stock person......

A MLM Master.......

An Entrepreneur.....

A fireman.....

A soldier......

A Mom......

Are YOU open to the fact......

That what YOU want to do......

May not be what you were intended to DO......

The Creator has a plan for YOU......

He is working on YOU now.......

Whether YOU are twenty five......

Forty-five.......

Or sixty-five......

HE may not be done with YOU.......

YET!!!!!!!

Is YOUR mind open for change????

Allow me to steer you......

To a location........

That'll HELP you to......

"Change YOUR Mind......"

"Change YOUR Income......."

"Change YOUR Life!!"

Ohhhhhhh my..........

I hope you are ready for this!!!!!

LOOK at ALL of the situations that I listed......

In a very different manner.......

LOOK at the........

The Brighter Side of LIFE......

Had a BAD day......

Probably has ALOT more Good Days.....

Then they have as BAD!!!

Had a heart attack.....

Takes medication for a serious condition....

Are taking better care of themselves......

And paying attention to their Health!!

Somebody who died of Cancer.......

LIVED a life that ended harshly.....

But they were blessed to live as long as they did.....

And to touch as many lives as possible.....

Thru the LIFE that they DID live!!!

Or lost a child.....

YOU were given a child......



To Love, nurture, and train......

To go thru pregnancy and childbirth......

And to give a part of you.......

And RECEIVE sooooooo much.....

From them.......

To cherish, forever!!!

Or lost a spouse.......

Or gotten a divorce......

YOU were allowed to LOVE

For a time.....

To GIVE somebody Your LOVE.....



RECEIVE that same LOVE......

From another human being.......

Share a portion of your life.......

Good times and the BAD.....

Maybe create another life.....

Through a child.....

I don't know WHY things happen......

MOST of the time.......

Chalk it up to "lesson learned".....

Life has waaaaaaaaaaaay more......

Good times.....

Happy moments.....

LOVE......



Affection......

Smiles......

Hugs.........

Kisses........

Take what life dishes out to YOU.........

And LEARN from it.....

Do NOT let it beat you down....

Because you have LOTS to live for......

And way too much GOOD ahead of you.....

Take A Walk With ME......and READ Some Stories!!

Walk with me......

Let me take you down three paths....

That YOU probably never walked down....

So walk with ME!!

The first path will take us to......

A cemetary!!

Walk amongst the headstones.....

And read some stories....

A few months back.....

I wrote about "Living In Your Dash"....

I won't retell it......

But this is similar!!

You will see names in the cemetary.....

That are "ancestors" of people YOU know....

Prominent names in your town.....

You will see people that lived.....

During the Great Depression.....

World War One and Two....

The Civil War......

You will see "Veterans".....

That died during those Wars...

You will see wives.....

That died before their husbands....

Or the other way.....

You will see children.....

Who died too young.....

Or couples that died on the same day!!

Stand STILL in front of the tombstone....

"Listen" for their story.....

Their tragedy.....

Their LOVE.....

Their loss.....

They are there.....

If you can "hear" them!!

You will learn ALOT!!!!

Next, go to a local junkyard.....

Auto salvage yard......

Or whatever it is called near you......

Walk amongst the cars....

They have "stories" to tell, too!!!

You will see an old pickup truck....

The "farm name" is faded....

It has a quarter of a million miles on it....

You wonder of the amount of things it has hauled!!

Bales of hay....

Fruits or veggies....

A "newborn" calf.....

Farm workers and so much more!!

You'll see a sports car that was wrecked....

A car like your first car......

A mini-van with a baby seat still in it.....

You'll see windshields with "spider web" cracks....

You KNOW somebody hit it.....

You wonder if they lived.....

Or were hurt real bad.....

Each vehicle has a story.....

WHY is it there???

Old age??

Damage??

Accident??

One time I "found" a bumper sticker....

"Is Your BIBLE Dusty??"

Very cool, it went on my car!!

A friend went to find a mirror for his van.....

When he found one.....

As he took the door panel off......

He heard something......

Inside of the door was 15 to 20 dollars.....

In change!!!!

Could you imagine the Mom or Dad......

Wondering, "Where has all my change gone??"

Some little "munchkin" just dropping coins.....

When nobody was around.....

READ the stories in a junkyard.....

Stand by each vehicle......

And READ what it says!!

One LAST walk........

Down the streets in YOUR town.....

Or in the aisles.....

Of your grocery store or Walmart......

Look at the old couple.....

Slowly, walking down the aisle.....

They have been together a long time.....

Or the Mom with three or four kids in tow.....

Is she a "Stay at Home Mom"???

Or a "Working Mom" shopping.....

On her way home???

Or is she a "Single Mom"???

Alone with nobody to help her???

Or you see the man.....

With stress written all over his face!!

Or sorrow.....

Or grief......

Or YOU see a couple.....

With LOVE "beaming" from them.....

Or anger or hatred between them!!

Stand still and READ their stories.....

They are flowing from them.....

Just dying to be read!!

Stories are all around you!!

People......

Old cars.....

Headstones.....

Have STORIES just beaming....

FROM THEM!!!!

Are YOU open to read them???

Why should that matter???

Because.......

When You Dream BIG......You WILL Win!!!!

I am very jealous for my friend......

Queen Dee Gabinet lives near Vancouver.....

Granted she could probably live better.....

Without the MILLIONS of people....

Up there for the Olympic Games......



BUT.......

The excitement of the Games.....

The competition......

The skills......

The collamity.....

The VICTORIES......

And the defeats......

HAVE TO BE mind boggling!!!

I have not watched very much of it.....

My schedule does not permit much TV time.....

But, last night, we watched some online videos!!

During one of them......

Their was a "commercial"......

YES, NBC has found a way......

To put commercials in their online video footage!!

Who knew???



One of them featured the TOP U.S. Winter Stars.....

The title came from that commercial......

I may not have it accurate, but that is what I remember!!

These athletes have BIG DREAMS.....

But with their dreams.......

They have spent YEARS training......

Honing their skills......

To become "World Class Athletes"!!!

The only thing "I" could do on a ski slope......

Is give the "Ski Patrol" something to do!!

Olympic athletes take years......

To train.....

To perfect.....

To train......

To improve......

To train.......

To excell.......

To train.......

To MASTER their Sport!!

They surround themselves......

With World Class Coaches......

Who have Mastered the Sport themselves...

Learn from them......

And work their way.......

To the Olympics!!!

Not every athlete wins a medal....

Only the Top Three will.....

Does that mean that the others......

Did NOT win????

Or reach their "Dream"???

Oh heck no!!!



They were the TOP from their Country....

They just competed with other......

TOP Competitors!!!

What might be Your Dream????

Where do YOU want to excell??

What are Your Goals????

Your ambitions????

Your desires???

Your vision for YOUR future???

Where are YOU getting "your training"????

Are YOU being trained by "World Class Coaches"???

That have.......

Been there.....

Done that.....

And don't care about the "t-shirt"!!!

(Mainly, because their goals are HIGHER than that!!!)

Lessons Learned From The Newark Airport Hilton

I shared this with some of you.....

At Wisdom School during lunch.....

On Saturday.....

I want to remind YOU......

And put this object lesson in your head.....

So that you see this.......

Over, and over, and over again......

Where YOU are everyday......

This goes back to something that Joe Schroeder teaches.....

(and WILL be another note, soon)

"What YOU Sell......Cannot Be Your Business!!"

Here is my first question.....

What does the Newark Airport Hotel sell???



Rooms, or sleeping accomodations, would be right....

BUT......

Where does this Hilton make the Most Money....

With the MOST Profit??????

The rooms???

The restaurant???

The bar???

The coffee shop???

The gift shop???

Parking???

Nope, nope, nope on ALL counts!!!

Let me share this scenario.....

Mr Hilton was sitting in his office.....

He heard a knock on his door.....

A man walked in and said.....

"Mr Hilton, I am with Verizon Wireless...."

"With the airport close by, I CANNOT put up a cell tower...."

"You, Sir, have the tallest building in the area....."

"May I put a cell tower ON TOP of your hotel????"

Mr Hilton said, "Sure you can!!!"

He extended his right hand to confirm the deal.....

And extended his left hand, to say, "Pay ME!!"



Yeah, I KNOW that is a "right hand" in the pic!!!

The next day, there was a knock on the door....

"Mr Hilton, I am with AT&T Wireless...."

"I see you let Verizon put up a tower....."

"May I put one up too????"

Mr Hilton said, "Sure You CAN!!!!"

Extending BOTH hands in agreement.....

The next day, Nextel....

Then Sprint.....

Then T-Mobile.....

You name them and they came......

Mr Hilton ALWAYS said......

"Sure YOU can!!!!"

As he extended BOTH hands!!!


Look at the center of the roof......

Those are cell and radio towers....

Sticking up in the center!!!



It gets better yet!!!

Soon, there was another knock at the door....

"Mr Hilton, I am with the County 911 Center......"

"We need to stay in CONSTANT communication......"

"With our First Responders......."

"Police, Fire, Ambulance........"

"Could WE put a 'radio repeater tower' on YOUR roof????"

Mr Hilton said, "Sure, anything to HELP my community!!"

Extending BOTH hands in agreement, again!!

More radio towers came as well.....

To Mr Hilton, who would say "YES!!!"

WHY would he do that???

WHY would he rent out his roof????

WHY is it the MOST profitable????

The roof is never seen by guests....

It only holds air conditioning and heating units.....

He IS profiting from un-used space.....

MOSTLY because NOBODY from the Hilton.....

Has to do a thing to maintain the towers!!!

The tower owner rents the space.....

And has to make the repairs and adjustments....

To their own tower!!!!

Mr Hilton has somebody open up......

The monthly checks that tower owners send HIM!!!



Look around YOU......

There is something that YOU can do.....

To be YOUR hotel rooftop......

Where people send YOU a monthly check.....

Yeah, it may not be as easy as Mr Hilton's.....

You may have to do some work....

Lake Effect SNOW!!

If you do NOT live near.....

Any of the "Great Lakes".....

You have probably NEVER heard.....

The scary phrase......

"Lake Effect Snow"!!!!

It is caused by the winter winds.....

Blowing across the Great Lakes.....

Evaporation from the Lake adds moisture.....

The combo of the "moisture" , wind, and cold weather......

Can DUMP large quantities of snow......

In the path of the wind!!!

That is why you hear, so much......

Of Buffalo.......

Or Watertown, NY......

Or even Oswego, NY........

Getting dumped on with snow......

Measured in FEET!!!

One Christmas, I left my Mom's house.....

To travel to my brother's house.....

In the opposite corner of the same town......

HIS house was closer to Lake Ontario.....

It was clear, sunny, and beautiful......

At my Mom's house.....

SIX miles later, at my brother's house.......

There was a FOOT of "fresh snow"!!!!

Soooooo, you are asking YOURSELF......

"Big Deal, Jason......."

"What's the point??????"

You WILL love this!!!!!

Can YOU Become "Lake Effect"?????

Remember, I said......

The winds blow across the Lake.....

Collecting the "evaporating water"......

And when they make land fall......

They can DUMP......

ALOT of snow!!!

So........

The neighborhood that YOU are in????

As YOU blow across this neighborhood.....

Collect from it what you CAN......

Gather UP the "evaporations".......

Take them and MULTIPLY them.....

To the area YOU are heading......

OHHHHHHH, I "hope" YOU see this!!!!!

MOST people that "experience"......

Lake Effect Snow.......

Grow to HATE it!!!

But......allow ME to show YOU!!!!

GATHER from "Your Surroundings"......

TAKE what YOU have "gathered".......

AND.............

SHARE it with the NEXT Community......

In YOUR Path!!!!!!!!!

YOU are NOT dumping.....

If YOU are doing it right!!!!

They will learn from YOU

They will grow......

BECAUSE of YOU.......

It was very late one evening.....

I just got home from work.....

Probably an hour or two ago.....

I am on the computer....

Playing a little....

"Chatting" a little....

I hear a KNOCK on my door....

I open the door, to find.....

TWO State Troopers!!

One of them asks me.....

"Are YOU Jason........Jason Nagel???"

I replied......"Yes Sir.....may I help you???"

Sir.....please step outside......

"Is there something wrong????"

"Sir.....please put your hands up against the wall"

What the HELL is up????

What did I do wrong NOW?????

After "frisking" me......the officer reaches for my right hand....

Puts a handcuff on my right wrist......

And then....pulls my left arm behind my back.....

Attaching the cuffs as soon as possible!!



My wife and kids are watching.....

From the front door.....or windows!!

As they walk ME to their "Squad Car"

They comment that.......

"We are VERY Glad, that we have 'FINALLY' caught YOU"

"What the HELL have I done WRONG?????"

A million things are rolling thru my head.....

What the HELL have I done?????

The ride to the Trooper barracks seemed to take forever.....

They sat me down at a desk....



A plainclothes officer came up and sat down at the desk!!

"What have I done wrong???" I asked

"You've been on the Internet every day, right??"

He asked me!!

"Yeah....is that illegal??"

"I don't do porn or anything sick!!"

"You been busy making a "presence" on the Internet!!"

"You've been on MySpace, Facebook, Twitter...."

"Is THAT illegal???"

"You have put forth an "attempt" at Internet marketing..."

"Network marketing, affiliate marketing, etc, etc!!!"

"Again......is THAT illegal???"

"No Mister Nagel.....it is NOT!!"

"At least...not YET!!!"

"So WHAT is the POINT of all of this???"

"Sir.....we have received NUMEROUS statements....."

"From YOUR friends and family......"

"That EVERY DAY you complain about being broke...."

"Cannot pay the mortgage, behind on bills......"

"And then YOU go on the Internet telling people....."

"Of 'multiple way' of earning Internet millions!!!"

Sweat is beading up on my brow as I swallow hard.....

"And the point is what, Officer???"

"We want to bring it to your attention....."

And inform YOU of something that WE have found!!

He writes something down on a piece of paper.....

Tears it out of his notepad and hands it to me!!

On it is a website domain......
