Once A Slave, Always A Slave, Part 2
(Sorry, but this is flowing and I HAD TO write this NOW!!)
Everybody is BORN into some type of slavery.....
We may not be Physically chained....
But we are chained, none the less....
Allow me to show you where it STARTS.....
And as adults, we repeat the process with OUR kids......
After you are born and your parents take you home.....
They put you in a cute little bassinet.....
Then a playpen.....
In a playpen you learn to explore your surroundings.....
BUT, you are restricted to that playpen.....
Your boundaries.......
Your "Comfort Zone".....
It starts at a young age.....
Once you start walking......
They put you into a "walker".....
It allows you to move around.....
With restrictions of course!!
Once you are big enough to go outside.....
You are released to a fenced in yard.....
You grow up and go to school.....
Only to be put into a classroom.....
When they release you to the wilds....
Of a playground.....
It too, is fenced in!!!
BUT.........
You have grown used to or accustomed to.......
Boundaries!!!!
Studies have been done and proven......
That kids are in such a Comfort Zone.....
That if the fence is removed from a playground.....
The kids congregate in the center.......
It is like they need those boundaries!!!
So off to high school and college you go.....
You are still within the boundaries of a classroom.....
But now, they work on the boundaries within your head.....
They indoctrinate you into thinking.....
That you NEED a college diploma......
To succeed in life!!
So you finish college......
And put that precious diploma in a frame....
(Isn't that "another" boundary???)
You go to work for an employer......
Who puts you in a cubicle.....
And sells you a bill of goods......
That you need him, the employer.....
Because he will GIVE you.....
A paycheck....
Health benefits.....
A dental plan.....
A 401k......
Vacation pay......
WOW, where do I sign up????
He is keeping YOU in chains......
He gives you enough pay to live......
Not to prosper......
Because rich people don't NEED a job......
So if YOU become rich.....
Your employer becomes obsolete!!!
So they keep you down.....
Boxed into your cubicle and benefits.....
Then you discover homebased businesses...
Or MLM......
And Everybody wants to keep you in your....
Comfort Zone......
Or boundaries......
They will try to tell you.....
"MLM is a scam....."
"You'll NEVER succeed at THAT...."
"You NEED your benefits package....."
Only those willing to step out of......
The playpen.....
The walker......
The fenced in yard.....
The classroom......
The playground.....
The sheep-skin.....
The cubicle......
The mindset.......
Will EVER learn how to be FREE!!
FREE to do their own thing.....
FREE to be successful on their own.....
FREE to change their World!!!

Yesterday, the Great Kim Godfrey.....
Posted a note on Facebook called.....
"Freedom From Approval"
She explained beautifully......
That freedom FROM slavery would NOT have happened.....
If Harriet Tubman did not first DREAM of being FREE!!!
And how Dreamers still exist today!!
BUT.........
Freedom from slavery had a price.....
A very steep price people couldn't pay!!
By time freedom came to the American slave.....
MOST that had come from Africa.....
Had already died in America......
Most slaves had been born here.....
Born ON the Plantation.....
Raised ON the Plantation......
Worked ON the Plantation.....
Went to Church, ON or NEAR the Plantation......
They barely knew that life existed......
Somewhere OFF of the Plantation!!!
So the tragedy of Prohibition was.....
Once the slave got his FREEDOM......
He did not LEAVE the Plantation!!!!
WHY NOT????
First off, they did not have any money.....
Second, who was "hiring" former slaves???
Third, they knew of nothing else BUT farming......
Fourth, the Plantation was their "Comfort Zone"!!!!
I'm not saying that NONE left the Plantation....
But on average, most did not leave.....
Some Plantation owners started to pay them.....
But it was NOT alot of money.....
Not enough for them to move on.....
Just enough for them to "pay the bills"!!!
Soooooooooo, does slavery STILL exist today???
You betcha!!!
People are FREE to do whatever they want to do.....
Work for an employer.....
Start their own business......
Travel the world performing magic.....
Be a broke, frumpy housewife.....
Anything that their heart desires!!!
BUT, most people do not want to leave....
The "Comfort Zone" of an employer.....
The paycheck.....
The benefits.....
The health care....
The 401k......
They are not able.......
Or should I say, not willing......
To trudge OUT on their own......
And do their own thing....
They would rather have somebody else dictate to them.....
What hours to work.....
What days to work.....
How to work.....
How much you can earn......
AND, if you are a good boy......
We'll even tell you when you can take a vacation!!!
TRAGIC!!!!!
Lincoln may have freed the slaves......
But society and our "Comfort Zones"......
Have NOT freed us!!!
Our YOU willing to break out of the Zone???
You will have to change your mind.....

Who's The Ass???
While on vacation in Williamsburg, VA......
In the Colonial Williamsburg Visitor Center.....
I bought a couple of books.......
ME??????
The guy who's attention span is soooooo short.....
I find it difficult reading the Sunday comics!!!!
The first book is The Autobiography Of Benjamin Franklin.....
A wise and Uncommon Mentor has recommended.......
That book to be read for MONTHS!!!
The next book is a compilation of writings.....
From Ben Franklin....
That "You Never Read in School"
It is edited by Carl Japikse.....
Copywrighted in 1990 & 2003 by Enthea Press.....
It is called.........
Fart Proudly
Every member in my family......
Rolls their eyes and says they are not surprised.....
That I would own a book like that!!!!!!!
Anyhow, stay tuned......
There are ALOT of gems in there.....
That I will be sharing with you.....

Today's blog title is one particular story.....
Who's The Ass?
Once on a Time it by Chance came to pass,
That a Man and his Son were leading an Ass.
Cries a Passerby, Neighbor, you're shrewdly put to't,
To lead an Ass empty, and trudge it on foot.
Nay, quoth the old Fellow, if Folk do so mind us,
I'll even climb the Ass, and the Boy mount behind us:
But as they jogged on, that were laughed at and hissed,
What, two booby Lubbers on one sorry Beast!
This is such a Figure as never was known;
'Tis a sign that the Ass is none of your own,
Then down gets the Boy, and walks by the Side,
Till another cries, What, you Fool must you ride?
When you see the poor Child that's weakly and young
Forced through thick and thin to trudge it along.
Then down gets the Father, and up gets the Son;
If this cannot please them we ne'er shall have done.
They had not gone far, but a Woman cries out,
O you yong graceless Imp, you'll be hanged, no doubt!
Must you ride an Ass, and your Father that's grey
E'en foot it, and pick out the best of his Way?
So now to please all they but one Trick lack,
And that was to carry the Ass pick-pack:
But when it was tried, it appeared such a Jest,
It occasioned more Laughter by half than the rest.
Thus he who'd please all, and their Good-liking gain,
Shows a deal of Good-Nature, but labors in vain.
Oh my goodness......how TRUE is that??????
How many times have YOU tried and tried......
Only to hear the SAME comments????
"You're too slow!!"
"You're too stupid!!"
"You're too fat!!!"
"You'll NEVER get it!!"
"Why do I bother working with YOU!!!"
"Hey FOUR-EYES!!"
SORRY to trudge up the memories....
BUT, we have heard this ALL of our lives!!!
No matter WHAT we do.....
SOMEBODY puts us down!!
Most people put YOU down.....
To "validate" to themselves.....
That they are better than YOU!!!
And in Reality.......
They are NOT!!!
Now YOU decide to improve yourself....
Your Lifestyle......
Or just add some additional income......
The naysayers come back at YOU.....
"MLM is a SCAM!!"
"The only people that make any money are at the TOP!!"
"It's a pyramid scheme!!"
"You don't have any extra time!!"
"It cost TOO much!!"
"The ONLY thing YOU can do on a computer is play Solitaire!!"
"You?? Do a home business?? Better file for 'Bankruptcy' NOW!!"
"You're NOT smart enough!!"
They ARE out there....
They feel that they NEED to enlighten you....
Of the Wisdom they have received.....
From watching Maury or Springer!!
You have to become a Pioneer Doer.....
And think for yourself.....
Would Columbus have discovered the New World??
Would Pioneers ventured out into the frontier of America??
Would somebody have discovered oil.....
If he didn't drill for it???
Would we have traveled into Space???
Or gone to the moon????
How about the very first person to do a "Bungee Jump"???
If EVERYBODY listened to the naysayers....
We would be living in our cacoons.....
Never changing.....
Never growing.....
Never exploring.....
Never discovering......
Our POTENTIAL to Grow, Love, Nurture, and Be REAL!!!
Would YOU like to meet a group of......
Pioneer-Doers......
Can-Do Artists......
World Changers.......
And they are as REAL as YOU are???
And they will Celebrate YOU.....
Not tolerate YOU!!

How FIRM Is Your Foundation????
What does that have to do with ME???
It has EVERYTHING to do with YOU!!!
Your foundation can be.....
Physical.....
Social......
Moral......
Financial.......
Business.......
And Family!!!!
In recent weeks......
All around the World.....
Have been evidences of bad foundations....
The earthquake in Haiti......
Had destroyed hundreds of buildings.....
Homes and roads.....
HUNDREDS lost their lives.....
Looking at the photos.....
The concrete buildings had NO rebar.....
Poor building codes.....
Led to devastating destruction!!!
Buildings had shifted off of their foundations....
Foundations were cracked.....
Or heavily damaged.....
It'll take years......
And billions of dollars to reconstruct!!!
A few weeks later.....
Chile was hit with another earthquake.....
Buildings were damaged.......
Some were destroyed......
Highway bridges fell like house of cards......
Cars were thrown around like Matchbox cars.....
Chile's building codes are better than Haiti's.....
The damage was severe......
BUT......could be worse!!!
This is Old NEWS......
So where am I going with this????
Bring this ALL back to YOU!!!
If you are a Christian.....
Your foundation is based on Jesus Christ.....
As the hymm puts it.....
"On Christ the Solid Rock I stand......."
Everybody has a Creator that they follow.....
To be their foundation in their life.....
Or your Life foundation is based on.....
Your job, your title, or your position......
And like in Haiti........
That foundation will not last a calamity.....
No job, title, or position will last forever either!!
So you need to build up YOU!!!
Base your LIFE on clear thinking....
Or as the "Catch phrase" of today.....
"Mindset"
Do NOT be misled by the wrong mindset training......
Find a teacher.....
Or Uncommon Mentor......
Who has been teaching this for years.....
And uses the old Masters like......

The Proverbs.......
If the mindset training is correct......
It teaches from old principles......
That have withstood time......
And still hold true.......
Whether it has been 100 years.....
300 years.......
2000 years.......

Had destroyed hundreds of buildings.....
Homes and roads.....
HUNDREDS lost their lives.....
Looking at the photos.....
The concrete buildings had NO rebar.....
Poor building codes.....
Led to devastating destruction!!!
Buildings had shifted off of their foundations....
Foundations were cracked.....
Or heavily damaged.....
It'll take years......
And billions of dollars to reconstruct!!!
A few weeks later.....
Chile was hit with another earthquake.....
Buildings were damaged.......
Some were destroyed......
Highway bridges fell like house of cards......
Cars were thrown around like Matchbox cars.....
Chile's building codes are better than Haiti's.....
The damage was severe......
BUT......could be worse!!!
This is Old NEWS......
So where am I going with this????
Bring this ALL back to YOU!!!
If you are a Christian.....
Your foundation is based on Jesus Christ.....
As the hymm puts it.....
"On Christ the Solid Rock I stand......."
Everybody has a Creator that they follow.....
To be their foundation in their life.....
Or your Life foundation is based on.....
Your job, your title, or your position......
And like in Haiti........
That foundation will not last a calamity.....
No job, title, or position will last forever either!!
So you need to build up YOU!!!
Base your LIFE on clear thinking....
Or as the "Catch phrase" of today.....
"Mindset"
Do NOT be misled by the wrong mindset training......
Find a teacher.....
Or Uncommon Mentor......
Who has been teaching this for years.....
And uses the old Masters like......
Ben Franklin.....
Wallace Wattles.....
Napolean Hill......
The Proverbs.......
If the mindset training is correct......
It teaches from old principles......
That have withstood time......
And still hold true.......
Whether it has been 100 years.....
300 years.......
2000 years.......
Or many, many more!!!

I AM........A Bamboo Tree!!!
What do you know about Bamboo trees???
While here in Colonial Williamsburg.......
Yesterday, we walked past a small clump.....
Of bamboo trees!!
I had no idea they grew here.....
But I was reminded of what I have heard.....
About bamboo trees and their "unique" growth pattern......
And THEN, the analogy HIT ME!!!
That is why, "I AM a Bamboo Tree"!!!
You can plant a bamboo tree......
In the first year.......
You don't see any growth.....
In the second year.......
You don't see any growth.....
In the third year.......
You don't see any growth.....
In the fourth year.......
It grows.......
And grows.......
And grows.......
Sometimes as much as 90 feet......
In that fourth year!!!!
And do you want to know something else????
It is amongst the strongest tree.......
That can sustain the strongest winds......
And calamities that strike around it......
Then any other tree in the world!!!
WHY?????
You might ask
Because in that prior three to four years......
The root system has been growing......
In the ground......
Entangling, and "clumping" together with other trees......
Anchoring themselves together as ONE!!!
History lesson time......
I stumbled upon Joe Schroeder......
And Diane Hochman......
And what has NOW come to be known as......
The Million Mind March
In the late summer of 2006......
I hung out on the open public calls......
I found a site that they podcasted the calls thru.......
On there they archived their calls......
Guess who downloaded EVERY ONE????
One time, Joe Schroeder sounded upset on a call.....
Cuz he heard I was downloading ALL of the calls....
And NOT a member.......
Now I look back.....
Realize it was just Joe.....
And his teaching the simple phrase.....
"What you give away, you get to keep!!"
Have I taken those calls and stolen them from Joe???
No way!!!
I have become a member....
Bought "some" of the courses.....
Been to Wisdom School.....
Created "M-3 Gear"......
And become an important part of the M-3 Community.....
Over the past three years.....
NOW, like the bamboo tree.....
I am growing......
In HUUUUUUGE proportions......
Becoming bigger and stronger.....
And looking forward to phenomenal growth......
In the year 2010!!!

It's Called "Physical Training".......But It's ALL "Mental"
Yesterday, my wife was talking to our oldest son.....
He is most of the way through.....
Army Basic training....
In Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.....
Or if you have been in the Army.....
"Fort Lost In The Woods, in the state of Misery"....
He recently passed his "PT Test"......
Which stands for "Physical Training".....
When you are in Basic Training.....
And NOT used to exercise....
Call it "Physical Torture"!!!
You have to do....
40 push-ups....
40 sit-ups....
And a two mile run!!
Oh wait....
That is what I had to do......
Thirty years ago......
And after listening to my son....
ALOT of things HAVE gotten softer....
I am NOT a "physical" kind of person....
For me, the worst part....
Was the two mile run……
Two mile run……
Around a quarter mile track……
Being the “Half glass empty” kinda guy….
In THOSE DAYS……
I used to psyche myself DOWN……
While running this……
Seven and a half laps to go…..
Seven laps…..
Six laps……
And so on!!!!
It NEVER seemed to get shorter….
It was grueling because of the way….
That I would LOOK at it……
Rather than focusing on what I have accomplished….
But on How MUCH I had left to do!!!
When you have this kind of thinking…..
The “Inbox” is ALWAYS full…..
The “bills” are always piling up…..
The house is NEVER cleaned…..
The laundry is ALWAYS dirty!!!
Once I moved on to Germany….
With the Army…..
We had a course mapped out…..
No “laps”, just one BIG one!!
It didn’t seem as grueling…..
There was a goal to reach…..
A finish line!!!
But do you want to know what????
I never completed it any faster!!!
Was doing laps better than the long run…..
When it comes to accomplishing things……
In life and your business……
Can you guess which is best?????
Well……Joe Schroeder recently said…..
”The reason why ‘Self Help’ doesn’t work……”
Is because there is no repetition!!!”
Then, how many times has Diane Hochman taught about…
Having a “90 Day Plan”????
Do YOU stop it after 90 days????
Or do YOU repeat it again????
I think you know the answer to that!!!
She also has told us…..
”The Four ‘C’s’- Collect, Capture, Communicate, and Close”
Does that work just one time????
Tick….tick….tick…..tick……tick……..
(I think YOU know this one too)
Sooooooooo……any idea WHY you are struggling????
Because YOU are looking at this business as I did running laps…..
I count down my ”tasks to do”…….
Rather than the accomplishment I have achieved!!!
That is grueling……
And will defeat YOU everytime!!!
”One person opted in!!!”
NOT…….
”Four hundred people rejected my message!!!”
You CAN start a forest fire……
With just ONE Match……
BUT…….
You have to light the match first!!!
