I recently was listening to a GREAT CD that I received....
From Cowboy Joe Schroeder where he was talking about.....
1000 gallon jugs FULL of water, and 56 gallons NOT full of water.....
He said that the 1000 jugs did not KNOW what it was like....
To be lacking, to be wanting, to be of NEED....
Because their NATURE.....they have ALWAYS been full....
Hmmmmmmmm, I rubbed my chin as I pondered!!!
I started thinking about a river, and for this example....
Let us talk about the GREAT Mississippi River!!!
The GREAT Mississippi River cuts right through the center of the United States....
It was a daunting task for earlier Pioneers to cross it on their westward travels....
Great cities have sprouted up around it....
Commerce has grown around it as well.....
BUT, allow me to share with YOU the natural aspects of the "GREAT River"....
In recent years, it has become known for its damaging floods.....
The GREAT Mississippi River takes in water from all kinds of sources....
It comes in from rain, creeks, streams, and other rivers......
They flow naturally into the "GREAT River" and fill it.....
But it does not hoard, hide, or keep this water.....
It naturally lets the water flow through it
EVERYTHING that the river takes in.......it gives back out.....
It is the river's "Natural Order"......
It does not know any different......
The ONLY one that notice......or have problems.....
With the "Natural Order" of the river is MAN!!!
When the river is running low......
Not as much water is flowing to and through the river.....
Man will start saying things like.....
"It is the WORST drought in ten years!!
"Global warming!!!"
"Ships cannot navigate with the low river!!!"
BUT......the River does NOT know any different....
It STILL takes in and gives out an EQUAL amount.....
No matter what.....no change!!
On the other side of the spectrum......
When the river floods.......it is STILL......
Taking IN and giving OUT to the same degree.....
When it overflows it's banks and devastates the area....
On either side of the banks......again MAN complains....
Of the DAMAGE done by the River.....
When IT did not do this intentionally to damage.....
It GAVE OUT what it TOOK IN!!!
FINALLY......man will alter the Natural Order of a river.....
By placing a DAM in the river.....
They will interrupt the flow....
To harness it's energy to produce their own energy.....
It will reduce the river and control it....
BUT......the lower portion of the river....
Will STILL give out to the equal degree that goes in.....
Only REDUCED by MAN.....stealing from it energy!!!!
What about YOU????
What has been YOUR "Natural Order"???
ALL of the Energy, Information, Love, and Wisdom......
Have YOU given OUT.....to the SAME degree as YOU have taken in???
If YOU have not......then YOU have built.....
Your OWN DAM in your OWN river.....
EXCEPT.......are YOU ready for THIS?????
You have NOT "produced" any energy with it.....
YOU have harnessed it......hoarded it......WASTED it.....
For YOUR OWN use......your OWN SELFISHNESS......
You have created a POND with in your life.....
Stopped being a river......
Break through the dam.....tear it DOWN.....
Give OUT equal to what YOU have taken IN.......
BLESS others......TEACH others......LOVE others.....
OH WAIT.....ready for THIS PART?????
If YOU give out MORE than YOU have taken in......
Then YOU are giving OTHERS a portion of YOU!!!!
The World NEEDS what YOU have received and what YOU are!!!
Open UP.....FLOW.....FLOW some more.....
It IS your Natural Order!!!
