I wanted to do what I do best......
Make you THINK about something in YOUR life!!!
Almost four hundred years ago, people set out from England....
Aboard some ships that were heading to the New World.......
More than half of the travelers did NOT survive the trip across the Ocean...
The first year in the New World, half of the survivors.....
Did NOT survive the first cold winter!!
It was a difficult new life style.....
These Pilgrims, as we know them, had alot to learn......
Their greatest teachers, were the Native Indians.....
They helped the Pilgrims with hunting.....
With fishing......
And growing native vegetables.....
The very FIRST Thanksgiving, as we call it.......
Was based on the harvest......
Of the vegetables grown and the game hunted!!!
Thus.....it was really a "Harvest Dinner"
More so then a "Thanksgiving Dinner"
A "Harvest Dinner" means you had to plant something......
A seed........ a plant........
In hopes that when it matures .....
You can harvest what YOU have planted.....
Has grown into what it was supposed to become.....
So, as the year 2010 comes to an end......
As YOU belly up to the Thanksgiving table.....
What have YOU planted in the past year????
What has it has grown into this year????
May I warn YOU???
EVERYTHING that you plant WILL come to a harvest......
Whether it is POSITIVE........or NEGATIVE....
Whatever YOU plant.......will grow and NEED to be harvested!!!

Love........Hate......
Prejudice........Peace......
Confusion............Clarity.........
Wisdom...........Foolishness........
Conflict........Resolution.......
Knowledge..........Folly...........
Turmoil.........Tranquility.......
Success..........Failure.........
Laughter..........Grief.........
Smiles...........Tears.........
Passion..........Revulsion........
What have YOU planted????
What will YOU harvest????
So when you push away from the table today......
No room for another dinner roll.....
Swagger in to watch ONE MORE football game......
Ponder what you have done for the past year.....
Are YOU truly "Thankful"????
If you ARE......then you ARE blessed!!!
Enjoy the fruits of your planting!!!
If you are NOT......you CAN change!!!
Change for the better NOW......
Plan on planting better seeds for the New Year......
BUT, do NOT wait to start......do it NOW!!!
You WILL be surprised......
On how quickly things will change for YOU!!!
So allow ME to encourage YOU......
It is NOT that hard.......
